And My Favorite of These...Breakfast!

The only BS I need in my life is breakfast and squats! Recently while on my usual Pinterest peruse, I stumbled upon breakfast prepping. Now, I am NOT a morning person. In fact, I'm stunned I've gone this long at my new job without being late! Sad, but true! Even though I don't care for the anthem of the alarm clocks, I absolutely love breakfast foods! Pancakes, omelets, bacon (duh!), and of course, COFFEE!!! However, I've been severely lacking in that meal time due to the 5am wake up time so I decided that I would try this breakfast prep for the next two weeks! I'm super excited!! Will be me tonight!! The pin about breakfast was the basis for my prep but I tweaked it a bit to make it my own! One thing I didn't change was the idea to do this in these awesome new "Reynolds" microwavable to go containers! My name is already on it, literally! Found in the tupperware aisle for under $3! The ingredients in this prep are clean, inexpensive and wil...

Working Towards My Goal One Brownie at a Time!

The best project you'll ever work on is you! What a week! In my last post, I confessed to some not-so-desirable qualities that I possessed and am happy to see go! That was a vulnerable post for me, as it would be for most people. One of my goals that I listed was that I wanted to hit a couple fitness goals that I had set for myself. This week, I got a tad bit closer to achieving where I want to be! I usually attempt to plan out the week in my Erin Condren planner, which is the absolute best planner ever!! I will try to write out a workout, meal and to do plan for the week and usually by day two, all is lost. I get lazy, slack a bit, and give up, resorting to sleeping in and going to Chipotle. This week I got a little sidetracked but pulled myself together and finished the week out strong!  My workout goal was to go to the gym at least 5 days, done! I was so happy and much more relaxed after it too! Proving that I want it to become a permanent fixture, so obsessed! Making mysel...

For the Love of Breakfast

Happy hump day!    It's almost noon and I'm still in pj's with my hunk eating a little brunch, I thought I'd share the healthy but yummy recipe I whipped up!    Today babe flies out to SoCal and we are spending the morning relaxing before we have to start adulting! We woke up late and he was craving biscuits and gravy, I love breakfast foods! I don't care if it's 4 in the morning or 11 at night, bring on the biscuits! Recently, I found a biscuits and gravy casserole that I loved and my biggest reason for doing a casserole instead of just making biscuits and gravy is that it's less mess, will hold for more than one day which means less waste! I tweaked this recipe to be healthier since I'm doing my 30-day challenge by using turkey bulk sausage, less salt, and reduced fat milk. I put this in an 8x8 or 9x9 square glass baking dish with a lid so I can store for easy breakfasts throughout the week!  Ingredients: 16 oz Jenny-O lean ground turkey...
