Brass Be Gone!

Orange you glad you're blonde!    Orange is the taboo word in the hair coloring community! You just don't say it, it's almost jinxing the sacred golden locks! No one, and I mean, no one wants their dream blonde glow to brass up on them! So, here's my solution: purple shampoo! Sally's Beauty Supply, $14 Many people have made comments regarding my hair in person. Usually, it is the day of or after I use this glorious shampoo! I personally use Clairol Shimmer Lights that I've talked about in previous posts. It is amazing! Per instructions,  you are to do a two part shampooing process to up your glow. I find this to be a waste of shampoo and time. I have extremely fine, thin hair that is a tad longer that my bra strap so I feel like a double shampoo will cause my hair to be too clean, fine and fizz like crazy! No thank you!! I leave the shampoo in my hair for about 5 minutes and then wash out completely. After the fact, I moisturize with Aussie 3 Minute...

The Basics of Becoming Blonde

Cheers,  it's round two! Happy Tuesday all! My morning started out like a typical Tuesday with traffic, coffee, and a giant waste of gas! But the silver lining, I have time to blog it up!! One thing I wanted to mention before continuing with explaining my personal blonding experience was that I started out with very healthy hair that hadn't been dyed for almost a year. So, for those of you who dye your locks quite frequently, you may want to discontinue for awhile and allow your hair to get a little healthy before shocking it! Just a little side note that popped in my head while in traffic this morning!! So, to recap, the supplies I purchased my first go round were as follows: •bleaching kit, initially I bought one but ended up needing to get a second while bleaching!
