And My Favorite of These...Breakfast!

The only BS I need in my life is breakfast and squats! Recently while on my usual Pinterest peruse, I stumbled upon breakfast prepping. Now, I am NOT a morning person. In fact, I'm stunned I've gone this long at my new job without being late! Sad, but true! Even though I don't care for the anthem of the alarm clocks, I absolutely love breakfast foods! Pancakes, omelets, bacon (duh!), and of course, COFFEE!!! However, I've been severely lacking in that meal time due to the 5am wake up time so I decided that I would try this breakfast prep for the next two weeks! I'm super excited!! Will be me tonight!! The pin about breakfast was the basis for my prep but I tweaked it a bit to make it my own! One thing I didn't change was the idea to do this in these awesome new "Reynolds" microwavable to go containers! My name is already on it, literally! Found in the tupperware aisle for under $3! The ingredients in this prep are clean, inexpensive and wil...

Save the Fave!

Sometimes all you need is a little sparkle and a whole lotta Jesus! Every summer and spring, I get a tad mani obsessed! Glitter, pastels, and accent nails take over from the matte, jewel tones, and dark colors of winter and fall! I love doing my own nails, mainly because I'm a control freak and I hate bubbles, smudges, creases, and any possibility that would cause me to tell the manicurist to redo each flaw. I know this isn't a new trend and people have since moved on to nail ombrees but I'm still doing the accent, surprise surprise I'm not up on the new trends! Why change if I still love it?! One polish that is my summer go-to is this sparkle from Sephora by OPI, "Meet Me at the Disco". It is the perfect pairing to almost every spring/summer shade. Since I am a true Florida girl, spring and summer tend to be one in the same, as are the shades! We only really have three seasons:...

It's Tuesday & at home mani day!  I have a nail routine I want to share,  I am and have been completely obsessed with it for awhile now. It's budget friendly at home mani that has the perfect shine without the high gel product price tag!  Let's get started! For prep shape your nails with a nail file, depending on the amount of shaping you need determines your grit. I use a rough grit to get the shape and a mild one to smooth edges and separated layers. I do not ever use a nail clipper, that's just too much commitment! Ha, in all honesty, I hate the look it leaves! When you finally get your nail to your desired shape and smoothness, wash your hands, and dip those naked fingertips in some acetone. This removes any oils, lotions, dust, and whatever other residue that may cause your base not to stick!  For the base, I use Sally Hansen Hard As Nails . This stuff gives your nails a gel-like base coat to make that polish stick! It also helps prevents ...
